Feedback Report (2018-19)

Self evaluation is the most important tool to improve the quality of education. College conducts feedback process to evaluate the standard of education. College has been taking feedback from its stakeholders since 2003.

Feedback of Students for Teachers

Education is the most important part of one’s life. The kind of education one receives largely depends upon the kind of teachers one has. 21 st century, role and responsibility of teacher is prominent.
A competent teacher has the following characteristics

• 1. Deep Knowledge of the subject, recognizes the role of need of knowing of the larger outer world.
• 2. A Good Communicator
• 3. A Good Listener and Good learner
• 4. Good Sense of Humor. Assist in understanding the constant process of ever changing reality.
• 5. Good Mentor, Motivator
• 6. Inspires to learn
• 7. Encouraging ,Friendly and Congenial
• 8. Patience, Reflective facilitator

To improve the quality of teaching, it is essential to collect feedback from students about teachers. Considering all the above aspects, a feedback form was prepared and at the end of the year, the responses from the students were collected.

Feedback of Students for College

Students progress depends on college facilities. College provides lot of basic needs. Internet facility has been given by College. College staff is also responsible for the improvement of students’ performance. College staff should be cooperative and helpful. Students are main stakeholders in the college. What they think about it or whether they are satisfied about college infrastructure. College feedback Committee prepared such type of question to know students response.

Feedback of Alumni

Alumni’s role is important in students’ development as well as college development. Alumni were asked 18 questions about college governing body and college facilities. Alumni are satisfied about it. Most of the students belong to rural area. Though the college is situated in rural area, it is competent enough to cater needs of students for their alround developments.

Feedback of Parents

Parents’ suggestions are also important for the progress of their wards. College feedback committee designed feedback form to know their opinion about curriculum. Most of the parents are very satisfied about it. They are happy to send their wards in such a reputed college. The college obtained feedback from four different stakeholders namely, Students, Teachers, Alumni and Parents on various issues related to developmental parameters. The Feedback from these stakeholders is obtained through structured feedback forms consisting of questionnaire prepared by IQAC. It is being analyzed and utilized for overall development of the institution. The IQAC chalks out the action to be taken on relevant points highlighted in the said feedbacks.

After analyzing the responses, it comes out that the most of the stakeholders are satisfied about college facilities, infrastructure, teachers, library and Sports department etc.
